![]() ![]() Personally, I think, the test is 99.9% accurate when taken at an ultrasound lab, versus at home. I had the experience of taking the test at home and at an ultrasound lab. I was super shocked when the doctor told me I was having a GIRL! WOW! The ultrasound was also another confirmation that my baby’s gender is female. ![]() ![]() I wasn’t surprised because we thought, what are the chances of having a girl after 3 boys?! Well, well, since I am now 35 years old, I was able to get the NIPT test, which checks for chromosome abnormalities and gender. I did the best I could, taking the test at home! My results were boy. Every inch of my home has been touched by my sons or husband. When you do the test at home, any and I mean ANY contamination with males will alter your results. Now with my current pregnancy, it was a false test, I could already see it would be a negative test. My results were boy and I had a boy! It was confirmed during my ultrasound, at the ObGyn office. In just a few days and up to a week, MAX, Sneak Peek sends you an email with the results. The nurse takes your blood and sends it to the lab. I made an appointment and it was a quick in and out. And of course, we are one of those couples that has to know the gender ASAP! I am actually not even sure if that was a choice just 2 years ago! However, after two boys, we really wanted to know if we were having another boy or not. With my 3 rd pregnancy, my husband and I decided to get the test done at a lab, before we knew we could purchase it online. ![]()
